Wow ! hGT have they been treating you in the interim for then Lichen Planus? I know we talked about this - it's some kind of steroid treatment. have you gotten your surgery dates yet? I had my meetings with the specialist this week. That's why I asked about the split jaw... I do film work and as sad as it sounds I would prefer them to rip my face off (pull the skin up over my face and then split my jaw if they have to). I don't mind a scar under my chin but I would prefer not to have one on my face. I only met with my surgeon's fellow Wednesday as he was called away on a family emergency. I have filled out my surgical consent etc.. I was due to meet with him this coming Wednesday but he moved it up to Tuesday so I am hopeful that I will get a surgical date before the end of this month. However I will make a point of telling him I don't want my jaw split if there are other ways of doing this. Thanks for all your input! and thanks Margaret. The lesion the left underside of my tongue. So far nowhere else. It is 2.7 cm wide and 1 cm deep. But there is a reddish area around it that will also be excised. I want it all gone.
