I finally met my dr. And I am due for surgery the first week in feb (yay! And EEK!) - he doesn't know for sure if he will have to split my jaw. He made me sign off on it - and said the he would only do it if it was necessary to ensure he gets all the cancer. that's all I can ask for. I am not crazy enough to worry about the way it looks with my life on the line. I would rather be cancer free - and have a small scar, than have them not get it all because I didn't want a scar! heavy sigh... I need to become close friends with a good plastics guy!
