I don't think that is malpractice. You could end up with many more surgeries on different parts of your mouth and tonue. There are a few of us on here that have never ending problems and I do feel for you. I hate to hear you have HIV too. Have them test you for HPV as this could be the cause of OC. If it is, the reoccurence rate would be lower for you.THis can be from Oral Sex, smoking. or other things. I wish Mine was HPV but mine is just called a unique type. No name because they have no idea what caused the OC.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
