Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | I hope you don't have to go thru as much as a lot of us did. NMow they want to take my lower jaw bone off. Hell, I have had way too many surgeries along with rads, chemo and rad seed implants. Just finished my 3rd abdominal anneurysm surgery too. This after having 1/3 of my stomache wrapped around my esophagus. But all this and I am still alive and enjoying this reduced life.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
