I have permanent damage to my right shoulder but it isn't really painful, just have lost some function and feeling in that shoulder. I also have the lip thing making my mouth look crooked kind of like I've had a stroke. But as far as recovering from the surgery, I was home from the hospital in three days and Tylenol was all I took. My bigger problems are as a result of radiation.
