Rosie.......My thoughts continue to be with both you and Heather. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you both and thats the truth! I was just a little older than Heather when I started my journey so I feel a connection to her. Terrific news about the chemo; I'm glad to hear that Heather is finally able to sit up and enjoy the world in an upright position. Thanks for keeping us all up to date, Rosie. Hugs, Donna


SCC first time 1989, with a diagnoses of 'cancer in situ' removed lesion, no other treatments.
SCC recurrence 1997 of tongue and floor of the mouth. Stage III /IV Hemmiglossectomy (removed over 60% of tongue/ floor of the mouth), free flap, modified neck, RAD and Chemo(cisplatin, 5fu) simutainously.
Cancer free 6, yes, six, years!
