Jerry, you said the magic words.........Christmas is right around the corner. You have no idea how that has become like a marker to me, a timeline of some sort, I can't explain it. All I know is that me and the girls talk about Christmas everyday now, it makes them feel good and it makes them feel safe to make long term plans like that. So, see you in New York my dear friend!

To all of you on this website, the support we give each other is priceless.....let's all count how many times I've written that, lol! Guess I need to come up with something a little more original. I love coming here and reading what you guys write to me AND to others. I also feel good giving back.

My surgery is a definite go for the 4th, I'm anxious, scared and raring to go.

SCC Left Mandible. Jaw replaced with bone from leg. Neck disection, 37 radiation treatments. Recurrence 8-28-07, stage 2, tongue. One third of tongue removed 10-4-07. 5-23-08 chemo started for tumor behind swallowing passage, Our good friend and much loved OCF member Minnie has been lost to the disease (RIP 10-29-08). We will all miss her greatly.
