Ive waited for over a year and the day is finally here. Its been the longest year of my life. People stare and make comments and whispers behind my back. Its been terrible!!!! Im hoping for a miracle that the doc can make me look like I used to. Even close would be ok with me. Although nobody is more greatful than I am to be here, I really hate looking the way I do. Only someone who has undergone severe disfigurement will be able to fully understand what Im writing here.
Oral cancer is awful!!!! Not one of us has an easy ride. The ones who get thru it easily still fair worse than people who have other types of cancer.
I will be back in a few days. Best wishes to all with all the hurdles that oral cancer brings with it.
