When I was getting 2000 a day I didn't feel near as active, if you were, as when I consumed 3000 a day. And if adding weight is any indication of calories in vs calories consumed, I didn't gain a pound of weight my entire first year post Tx of consuming 3000 cals a day and I have to feel that if I was only getting 2000 a day during that same period then I surely would have lost weight and therefore I would conclude that 2000 was not enough to offset the "behind the scenes" healing activity that must have been going on. Whew!

Jun 07, back to riding my bike 100 miles a wk. Now doing 12 Spin classes and 60 outdoor miles per wk. Nov 13 completed Hilly Century ride for Cancer, 104 miles, 1st Place in my age group. Apr 2014 & 15, Spun for 9 straight hrs to raise $$ for YMCA's Livestrong Program. Certified Spin Instructor Jun 2014.
