Look, I don't want to through a wet blanket on all this, but I can't even count the number of promising cancer drugs that made it through animal trials and never made it to market here in the US. Hundreds over the last decade. Even if this was THE one, it could take years to get through the clinical trials. The truth is that we are not mice. Of course the pharma companies are all over talking about this, and pumping it up in releases, they have to raise millions, hundreds of millions of dollars to do the trials and then IF something is successful get it through the authorities in each country.

In the US, the FDA would have to issue an experimental approval to do something with an unapproved drug, treatment, or device, and I haven't seen them do it in the last 12 years.

Needless to say, I think everyone on these boards are pulling for a breakthrough for you to get past these difficult times.
