Round three update. I am complete with 19 of 25 IMRT sessions and 4 of 5 chemos. Pain isn't as bad this time and my taste buds are more resilient this go around. (I am less than two years from my 33 IMRTs)

The spit and phlegm are as bad or worse than I remember. Nausea is a bit less but the heartburn is worse. I am just all over the map but I can see a light at the end of my tunnel.

I was starting to eat pretty well following the hemi-glossectomy but now that is history. Biggest challenge is to keep up with the physical therapy for the jaw.

Good news is that the lung mets are still gone or this entire round would be a no-go.

In surveillance post re-IMRT and Carbo. Lots of scar tissue, hi-FDG Uptake on PET, no lump. Feel Fine, CLEAR for now.
