Hello everyone

I am a 30 year old female smoker (in the process of stopping).

I have a white raised lesion on my bottom lip, with a small brown mole looking thing. I have in the last few weeks starting getting pain in my tongue and lips

I was referred after dentist said it looked abnormal. Once referred the dentist said straight away we will do a excisional biospy, at this i asked what she thought it was, she said she didnt know

My question here is what is the likelhood of it being cancer? and do they tell you if 'they think' it is or not
