I am almost 7 years out and life is good - almost normal!I had three teeth extracted 4 months ago and healing has been a problem. My doc has suggested hyperbaric oxygen treatment but dentist who spoke with oral surgeon who works with oral cancer patients says the treatment will not help and we should wait a longer period of time or consider treatment with pentoxyphylline. I am concerned with bone death possibility. Looking for any advice or anyone treated with pentoxyphylline?
