Still swallowing. He drinks Gatorade and water throughout the say and still eats eggs & steakums, pancakes etc.
He tries various things, cottage cheese, yogurt, pudding but a lot of the problem is he had all his teeth removed in late May and can't chew things he'd really like to. He also says everything tastes bad, not just bland but bad so it's an effort to eat things.
I've got him working on jaw excersises to help prevent Trismus because he won't get his first appointment with the Speech Pathologist until after his treatment is completed. I thought that was odd but I guess that's their custom.
I'm grateful for the PEG. He's a Diabetic and his intake is super important to maintaining his blood sugars.
