Hi All,
Wanted to send an email about the fundraiser for Cancer held every year and though it was only here in Australia. On checking the site this morning found it was a national event.
Purchased my yellow plastic bracelet on the weekend and will by an extra bunch of daffodils for Monica's (survial in MI) father who passed away on Wenesday 15th.

The Cancer Council's Daffodil Day is the largest merchandise based national fundraising event of its kind for cancer research, education, and patient support in the Southern Hemisphere. The event had its beginnings in Canada around 30 years ago and is now held in eight countries including the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Denmark and Australia. It is a day to remember people touched by cancer, a day to celebrate survivorship and to hope for a brighter future.
The daffodil is the international symbol of hope for all those affected by cancer.
Cheers
Gabriele
