I know that feeling - waiting for the biopsy. Whatever happens, you are fortunate to have such an alert dentist. It might be nothing. If it is cancer, you will have caught it early.
This site has excellent info on oral cancer so you need look no further. I tend to think you should wait for a bit though. Wait until your biopsy. You will get a lot of support here and will never be alone if it is cancer.
From my personal; experience, white dots can be a number of things so don't panic. Try to do things you enjoy until you have the results. Good luck!


1996, ovarian cancer surgery + cisplatin and taxol.
September, 2007, SCC of left lateral tongue. Excision.
October, 2009 recurrence in scar tissue, T1NOMO. Free flap surgery from left wrist - neck dissection. 63 year old New Zealander. No chemo, no RT.
February, 2014. New primary in left buccal mucosa. Marginal mandibulectomy, neck dissection, right arm free forearm flap. T1N0M0 but third occurrence and some areas of concern: RT started 8 April and finished 19 May.
