I saw my team of Drs at Ohio State Arthur G James CCC one day and 2 days later was having surgery on my tongue, neck dissection and a tube put into my neck. I liked the speed of things because I had no time to worry except for most of my family having to drive 2 hrs to visit me. Really, I think having things speeded up saves a lot of mind problems about the what-ifs and maybes. Good luck with everything you will go thru in the upcoming months.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
