Petey,

From your signature, it looks like you are almost 1/2 way through your radiation treatments. That can be the begining of a tough time for some. My husband really hit a wall during week 4 and 5. And, it really impacted his "fight".

Some of that was struggling with getting the pain medication at the right level, which it is now...and, now that he is more comfortable, he has his "fight" back.

Petey, I hope you fight this and I hope you fight this hard! Staying mentally and emotionally on top of the fight is a challenge...for patients and caregivers.

I will forever be impressed with how you took hold of your situation and organized a top medical team.

Now you need to channel everything you have into winning this fight...and, believing in yourself and your team.

Dx 5/18/07 SCC, BOT, lymph node involvement. T1N2BM0. (Stage 4a, G2/3)
Tx 6/18 - 8/3/07, IMRT x 33 Cisplatin x3 (stopped after 1st dose due to hearing issues). Weekly Erbitux started 6/27/07 completed 8/6/07.
