Try looking at a used car. They have some nifty sports cars with low miles. You should be able to resell it back into the marketplace without taking to much of a hit. You can also look at an historic car. If they are restored back to "good" but not great condition, you can buy one and sell it back into the marketplace at the same price.

I have a 77 MGB. Not historic enough to be worth a lot (about $5,000) but great fun. I've had it for years and can sell it for what I paid. I saw a well restored corvett the other day for $18,000. Without to many additional miles it could be resold into the marketplace for about the same price a year or two from now.
