It all looks good. He said the swelling was a salivary gland and was from the radiation. He said that I am healing well, but may take a few more weeks to get somewhat back to normal. Still struggling with the mucous. He said that will soon go away and then you will get dry mouth which will not go away, but you learn to deal with it. I have a PET scan schedule for MAY. Not sure if I can wait that long. smile I am glad about the good news form the DR. Apparently when I had my surgery in Oct, there was still a bunch of tumor left on my tongue. According to the RO it is gone now. We will not know for sure if there is any residual stuff until PET scan. I am resting a little more easy now.
