I will submit the request for OCF's grant tomorrow and shortly after, the polls will open and voting will begin. Again, we are applying for a $250,000 grant from Pepsi and our specific project will be a PSA campaign. Once granted the $250,000 OCF plans to create a captivating commercial that will air nationwide informing the public the importance of oral cancer screenings. (This could be the beginning of a national program for opportunistic screenings which would yield early discovery by medical and dental professionals.)

BUT- this is all optimistic thinking at this point of time. Our main focus within the next month will have to be on getting as many people as possible to vote for our campaign! We did it in the past with the Cancer Fighter's Award and we can do it again! It will be great to have a team of volunteers dedicated to getting as many supporters to vote on OCF's campaign as possible- via social networking, email, phone calls, etc. If anyone's interested please shoot me an email!
