There is a saying on these boards that comes in quite useful: "It's not cancer until your ENT says it is.". The only way a DR can definitively tell you you have cancer or not is a biopsy. If your current Dr didn't ease your mind (which seems to be the case) then get a second opinion.

Until that time, it's hard to hear, but calm down. Even if it does turn out to be cancer it doesn't mean it's the end of the world. Do your due dilligence and get a second.
