Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 7 | Angie, unfortunately the flap skin must come from your husband. I have an open wound on my neck and use whats called a wound vac to help it heal. My wound is about deep and must heal from the inside out. Ask the doc if this is something that would help your husband. Skin was taken from my legs to heal my wrist which was what was used for my cheek. Maybe the doc could use that skin.
