Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 25 | My husband's 3 month post radiation PET scan came back all clear. It feels like the Hotel CAncer just moved us to a room with a view! What a wonderful sense of relief! Angelia, hang in there! and Charm.. my husband did have that spirit in 1969...unfortunately he was in Vietnam at the time. I was but a mere child and the only spirits I knew about were the kind Dicken's wrote about.
Base of tongue spread to 2 lymph nodes.stg?? Dx 5/5/09 peg
Tx started with 35 rad, 7 weeks cisplatin, 2 weeks 5-fu.
completed second course of tx with reduced dose of cisplatin &
5-fu. All clear
Post radiation swallowing difficulties 12 years later
