I've now completed my third day of radiation - 1 session on Monday and 2 sessions Tuesday and Wednesday- 5 down - 22 to go(I think). So far so good but my skin is already redder than last time around but only on the left where I had the previous radiation. I tolerated the Chemo (Cisplatin) really well and so far have no real concerns. I am going home for the weekend and on Monday will restart the same treatment regime as an inpatient. So far I'm eating normally and have no major mouth or tongue problems - I just hope this continues for the next couple of days so that I have a good weekend with my family!
