Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | Jim, I have that stiffness and it is worse in the mornings too. It makes it difficult to eat anything that isn't soupy. Just keep fighting and experiment with foods as you go. As for biotene tooth paste, I buy it at walmart for $5. 27 I think it is a tube. The mouth wash is $5.97 a bottle. It sure is nice to hear that you are back to being almost normal. LOL You are an inspiration to ones like me that seem to have halted any progress. Jim
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
