Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,219 | Great story, Petey. Between you, David and Sharlee, this is the most "OCF people in the news" that I've seen in the 2 years I've been on this forum. You guys keep working on the news media and public awareness and I'll keep working on the dental community.
I'm glad to see that you are now moving along quickly and look forward to seeing your posts as you go through treatment and start the healing process. I have no doubt in my mind that you will continue to be a survivor and a contributing member of this board for a long time to come.

Retired Dentist, 59 years old at diagnosis. SCC of the left lateral border of the tongue (Stage I). Partial glossectomy and 30 nodes removed, 4/6/05. Nodes all clear. No chemo no radiation 18 year survivor.
