Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | Travis, when your MOM wakes up, it's possible she might have forgotten a few things. Her mind and body have just been thru a horrific time and both will need healing time. She's a great lady and as tough as they come and will be fine . I sometimes wish my lost time would return and it's been over 18 moths since it occured. Give her a big hug for me will you. She is very special .. Jim
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
