At the end of treatment his chemo doc felt what he thought was scar tissue on a node - a cat scan confirmed this...what a relief! He is now on another round of cisplatin. He has had some fluctuations in his blood pressure but this normalized following a 3 week break from treatment. The most disturbing side effect now is the phlegm build-up.
