It will take a couple weeks before you start to feel better. ang in there. Wow, am I glad I never tried the Aloe plant. I had thought the same thing that it should help. I was given beta-val cream. It worked great, didnt burn and I have no scarring of my neck. It had been open sores but it healed completely with the beta-val cream. There are tons of different kinds out there that you can use. Best of luck wiht a speedy recovery.
