My husband has just had surgery to re-section the mandible, remove the tumor, and remove lymph nodes. He was diagnosed via biopsy about three weeks ago, and it has been a whirlwind as I'm sure you all know. He is still in the hospital recovering. The surgeon hasn't told us yet whether he will need radiation - depends on the pathology. Sounds like we won't know for a few more days. No questions yet for this group but I look forward to being part of this community of survivors and caregivers.
