It's there. He asked me if it wasn't on just the left side last time, I told him they tried to tell me that but ended up cutting the right side the last surgery at OSU. When I walked out of his office it was almos 6PM and we were still taalking.LOL Man he is a great Dr. He tried to get things set up for a PetScan and biopsies but will do that tomorrow. He gave me a script for Cipro becasue it could shrink that blasted thing. We are both hoping. I really won't know more until I hear from him, but he wants to see if it gets shrunken any by cipro. I met the nicest lady in there.he is from N. C. Was in for a follow up. I love the way they talk. LOL I even told the Dr to go and do for her what he had to,.She thanked me.So did the DR and Nurse comment on how nice I am. Gheez

When Jim was diagnosed with Cancer,we got a $300 check from the cancer society. Do you know if this $300 is just given in certain states ? I have a friend who lives in another state who has cancer and I was telling her about it. Does anybody know the answer to this ? Thanks. Claudia

Hope the cipro helps take care of whats wrong. Its a very strong antibiotic, make sure you eat soemthing with it or you could get a really bad stomach ache.
Claudia...Im in PA also but did not get a check. They helped me with providing a driver a few times for me to get to radiation. They also helped with covering some co-pays for my meds.

You said, "It's there", do you mean they suspect a return? By giving you the Cipro I assume they are hoping it's an infection but if they are planning biopsies so soon then the Cipro certainly won't have any time to work.
