I did come up with something. I will have to send it to you email.
It is just an idea, but thought you could take it and go from there.. I got the idea from everyone here talking about their Journey.
I am sure a professenal could do better. I could not sleep until I got something down on paper. It was bugging me.
Take care, Diane

At the top of this page and in the center of the home page is a round OCF LOGO. I have a lapel pin that I wear in the office everyday on my dental jacket that looks just like that. I believe I got it when I joined the OCF. I don't see it in the store, but I think it was part of my professional membership package. I do see that a "cloisonn

Like the ribbons and bracelets have been.
By the way anyone who wants one of our OCF pins to wear, just drop me an eamil and I'll get one out to you. We don't sell them in the store, guess we should, but they do go out to everyone that becomes a member. But if that is a price that is too high for you, or you have a group that needs them, just let me know. We run them every few months by the thousand, and I am happy to have you all wear one.

I got my OCF pin a long time ago and I still wear it. It's a little small, so that makes people lean in to look at it on my coat and ask me "what is that?" That's fine with me because then I can explain that I am a member of the OCF. That gets a short conversation going.
If you don't have one, get one! The enameled version is very attractive and it does bring an awareness of who we are, what we read and talk about everyday, and what we're trying to do.
March on!

I sent a design idea to Brian. I was trying to figure out how to explain what I sent to you all.
So here it goes. I sent a circle with a hiker inside all done in Burgundy, then wrote ORAL CANCER at top of circle FOUNDATION at bottom. THE on side (left) JOURNEY on side (right) All done in white print. The circle is 0 for oral and the hiker is for journey.
I also sent a few other ideas using same design but altered it. I am trying to come up with another. I am using the JOURNEY as the theme at this time. I got the idea from all of us going through this journey.
The design could be used for many things. Shirts, hats, pins, key chain, pendant, charm, stationary etc. I am sure we could come up with a few more ideas.
OK, just wanted to share this with you all, and get your feed back for Brian.
Take care... Diane

So need to come up with idea that is not a ribbon, or a bracelet.
I keep coming back to pins, key chains, & charms, book markers. Oh! how about a mouse pad? Or a check book cover?
Maybe someone else has an idea......?? chime in.
Take care, Diane

How about a watch? Maybe TIMEX would get behind this one...??
I am trying to think of something that would be out in the open & people would see. Just like Lisa's pin and people ask about.
Back to drawing board....... Diane

What ever?? The face could have something special, or just the logo of OCF. No matter what we come up with, it has to be something that a woman would buy. Sorry Guys, it is the truth. Women are the ones that buy most of the things like this. I think anyway. If I am wrong then I apologize to you all. Take Care, Diane

I was just hoping we could come up with an idea for OCF to use that would stand out like the ribbons and bracelets did.
So I keep trying.
