Nancy:

Its definitely a long road to walk before you are back to normal. Everyone reacts and heals differently. I was barely able to eat when my chemo and rad started due to having 2 open sores of cancer in my mouth. Ask your doc for magic mouthwash and use it to help ease the pain or the mouth sores. There are many variations of this, mine was malox, lidocain and benadryl. This will help you by making it easier to eat. Just keep swallowing as much as you can thru out the tx. Keep your calories up to 2000-3000 daily and water minimum at 48oz. Of course the more water and calories the better it will be for you. Good luck with tx.

Nancy,

Quick reply is what we all use. Just start typing in the box and when you're finished hit the Submit button. Anytime before that you can correct your post by backing up, retyping, etc.

Switch to Full Screen Reply is the same thing except it allows you to be a little more creative with your posts.

If you want to abandon the post you're in before you hit Submit just hit the back arrow at the top of your computer screen.

When you hit the Submit you will be taken back to the post where your's will now be the last one. Read it and if you need to make a correction or wish to add more thoughts just hit the Edit button and correct away. I always Unclick the Mark as Edited? just so no one knows that I had to correct myself. Gotta keep my image up you know. LOl

Keep on playing around and I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. This site is really user friendly.

Nancy,

I use the "preview reply" button next to the submit button every time. Sometimes, when I read my post in the preview box, it doesn't make sense even to ME. Then I go back and try to fix it. smile

Just put that little line that appears when you click with your mouse behind whatever you want to delete and hit the backspace key. It will back up as far as you want it to.
