Here's something that should brighten your friend's day: send her a CUREchief from the CUREchief Foundation.

Sandy Centorino of Cheshire CT started CUREchief in 2000. It's a nonprofit organization that donates triangle headscarves, free, to cancer patients. Others buy them. Sandy started it when her friend developed cancer, and she wanted to do something nice for her; so, Sandy made her friend a headscarf. Sandy's kids asked for scarves, her kids' friends asked for scarves, their teachers asked for scarves, and it took off. It helps that Sandy is a dynamo. Since then, the CUREchief Foundation has donated 100,000 headscarves to cancer patients.

Go to www.curechief.com and click on "send a CUREchief."
You also can find out about CUREchief on the site. The video is excellent.
