She also informed me that the police will carry out covert surveillance on Robins grave on the 29th.I cant explain why,but this has upset me beyond all belief.The thought of people lurking in the bushes and watching friends and family who will be going to the cemetry to pay their respects on the anniversary of his death,just offends my sensibilities,and i cried a lot at the thought of robins memorial day being sullied in such a way.
Is he never to get peace?

I hope that Paul is found safe and sound. On the one hand, its nice that the search is continuing for him and so many people are helping. On the other hand, I can understand how you feel about the anniversary of Robin's death. Please know that you are in my thoughts all this way "across the pond" and that I am sending you cyber hugs. 
Dad: Age 65 Heavy smoker/drinker. Biopsy-No surgery. Cancer base of tongue/throat. "Invasive Squamous Carcinoma RRT" --Beginning 1/9/08: IMRT treatments (5X/wk),chemo pills (4/day) and Chemo IV (once/wk) PEG tube inserted 1/25/08. Treatments ended 2/26/08

History Leukoplakia bx 8/2006 SCC floor mouth T3N0M0- Verrucous Carcinoma. 14 hour 0p SCC-Right ND/excision/marginal mandibulectomy 9/2006, 4 teeth removed, flap from wrist, trach-ng 6 days- no chemo/rad. 6 ops and debulking (flap/tongue join) + bx's 2006-2012. bx Jan 2012 Hyperkeratosis-Epithelial Dysplasia 24cm GIST tumour removed 8/2013. Indefinite Oral Chemo.
1/31/16 passed away peacefully surrounded by family

Husband: 3 SCC gum and cheek cancers 2002, 2005, 2006: surgery only. Scans clear after removal of small, well differentiated, non-invasive cancers. No radiation. 4th SCC lip diagnosed 4/13/07 - in situ, removed in biopsy. More lip removed 2/8/08 - dysplasia. 2 Biopsies 3/17/09 no cancer (lichenoids)

I can see why they want to do it but the grief you'll be feeling on that day will be hard enough without knowing you are being watched by strangers.
