Danny is spending private time with close family right now. Do not expect him to post replies, and please respect his need to spend this time with his immediate family. There is little doubt that he knows we all love and respect him.

Having been by my friend's side just one year ago while her husband was in at home hospice care, I can tell you that it was important for my friend to keep talking to her husband, reading her husband cards and letters that friends wrote, and generally letting him know that every one loved him, cared about him and were praying for him. May I humbly suggest, that during this very difficult time for Danny and his family, (if it is OK with Brian) that we write loving and supportive thoughts to Danny and his family that his family could read to him. The Board was enormously important to him and it's important that he knows that people think of him daily.

And Brian's correct. Please don't expect an answer from any one. We answered the door and the phone for my friend, washed her dishes, threw out the garbage, ran to the store for her etc. Her focus and the nurses who came and went all day long watched and monitored her husband, his meds, the equipment. It's quite another world when you're in that position. It would be nice though, to leave something wonderful for his family to read when they can. I created a book of letters from all of the team couples in our marriage ministry for my friend to read later on. She reminds me to this day that the book is enormously valuable to her.

With the deepest respect for Danny and his family's strength and courage,
Lisa
