Danny..our paths crossed 3 years ago and I was hoping and praying this bloody disease would just go away and leave you alone.
You are such a positive influence on these boards, your heart is big and your bravery is magnificent...you are in my thoughts a lot.
I will never again hear the song "Danny Boy" without thinking of you.

We love you Danny.
Marica and Pete.

Danny Boy,
You are still the man. No offense to Packer, who was active on this board when I first joined almost 4 years ago, but I wish that there was a way that Brian could name the forum after you. In all of my time on this board you have been the most unselfish and loving supporter of those who came to this site in need of some love and understanding or guidance, and you have handled your own travails with class and dignity as well.
Although we have never met in person I am proud to call you my friend.

Take care,
Danny G.

Danny, I'm another person who remembers well how supportive you've been to me and to so many others since I first found this board over a year ago--and your support has been so consistent regardless of what you were going thtough. You're in my thoughts. I now have a (inherited) piano in my house and I've been teaching myself all sorts of music, including "Danny Boy". And when I play it I send all my warmest wishes to you. You've earned the love of lots of people here.

Danny Boy ... your courage humbles me. Your willingness to share your experience on this board has helped so many people - more than you'll ever know. You and your family are most definitely in our thoughts and prayers.

Hi Danny-boy
Don't go giving the hospice any of your Irish flannel boyo.. definitely a touch of the Blarney Stone in you.
But also in you is a unique insight into the workings of the human persona. Your gift of compassion coupled with the gift of supreme commonsense is a very rare thing.
May your God walk with you.
Sunshine... love and hugs
Helen

Danny Boy,

I often logged on the forum as I did today to see if there was an update from on your treatment progress. And I always wished for good news. I am saddened to read your post and it left me with a heavy heart.

I have never met you but I wish I had as you are a unique person in having and offering compassion, caring and help to others by sharing your experiences in your fight against this evil desease.

Please do not give up. I hope that Hospice can bring comfort and alleviate your pain.

You are the gentle kind couragious Warrior of this forum and we need you wisdom, insight and warmth. Please do not leave us.

Vin
