Was he clamped down to the table and wear a mask?

I would rinse constantly throughout the day and would go through at least 1 bottle of this mixture a day. I was told this mixture also helps keep the mouth clean.

It was one of the worst side effects for my husband (2004). He found that sleeping w/ a humidfier helped a little and drinking water too. He went through a box of tissue a day trying to clear the secretions as he coughed and gagged them up. We would pull the stuff from his mouth w/ tissue many times a day. But it DOES eventually get better. | | | | Joined: May 2008 Posts: 73 Supporting Member (50+ posts) | OP Supporting Member (50+ posts) Joined: May 2008 Posts: 73 | ^^ u all are correct , his secretion levels have gone really down specially after the tracheostomy just twice or max thrice a day does he coughs and suction is done. rite now its just the weakness hes coping with cause of the weight loss hes 4kilos underweight.
