I talked to my OR after rads this morning.. He thinks I might be needing the patches next week. I told him how bad yesterday was and how that pain just wouldn't let up, even after Hydrcodone and percs. LOL I told him what I want is an autographed pic of him . LOL All the commercials the Hospital does has him in them. Such a nice person. I appologized for not listening to him about rads and chemo last sept. He said forget it boss, we have to get you better and forget what happened. Have a great day all.

Jim,
What a coincidence, my radiation started on Jan 28th as well - 5 years ago. Yes you probably will need the patch and eventually maybe even more than one. The drugs you are taking now are not designed for long term, chronic pain.

Jim,
the pain meds are temporary... use them when you need them, for Jim's sake!! They are there to help you get through this thing... do not feel guilty if you use 'em all up.
