I can't change the format of the board; it would void the license OCF has with the people we get it from. However there is a section for FAQ.

I have posted several times that I could use some help sorting out the best posts to add to that section, (and then prune them from the board so it would run faster) but haven't had any takers. I just don't have time to delve into it. But you are right, the same questions come up from every new person, and even the most giving and persistent of the old timers gets tired of posting the same answers again and again. (I quit teaching basic flight instruction after many years because I just got burned out on it, something that I really enjoyed introducing new people to for a long time. I only teach basic aerobatics, as it is more challenging, as it requires a more experienced student.) Luckily, we haven't had anyone go without an answer yet here.

But I would be in favor of a section in the main web site that covers the basic questions and provides answers based on the experiences of the posters here. The problem is the majority of people you see on this board, have never read through most of the site, where most of the answers to their questions reside. I don
