Donna, that one had me laughing so hard! Good idea though, I need to do something. I can clear a room in about 3 seconds now and the sad part is that I giggle like a five year old about it!


SCC Left Mandible. Jaw replaced with bone from leg. Neck disection, 37 radiation treatments. Recurrence 8-28-07, stage 2, tongue. One third of tongue removed 10-4-07. 5-23-08 chemo started for tumor behind swallowing passage, Our good friend and much loved OCF member Minnie has been lost to the disease (RIP 10-29-08). We will all miss her greatly.

Minnie,
Each time I am with my 2 year old niece, Olivia, she smiles, and says, "Oops!! I passed gas." smile Too cute, especially since ahe has her own little speech-ease in which she speaks.
I sincerely hope you are feeling better. My nephew, Zack, Livy's brother, says, "Wow! I just laucnched an air biscuit!!"

CG to Mom, dx 4/25/07 with tongue cancer,T3N0,tx began 7/6/07, 31 tx's of IMRT, 8 cycles of Erbitux. Brachytherapy, surgery, left neck dissection and temp trach placed all on 9/17/07, trach removed 10/17/07. ORN of jaw, late effect of radiation symptoms. **lost my beautiful mother on 5/5/11.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only grown up that can get a laugh over bodily functions! It has gotten worse today, I asked my husband to bring me some Febreeze and he launched it into the room like a grenade, didn't even come in. The only one that will stay with me is my dependable dog, Lucy. And I suspect that's only because her gas smells far worse than mine ever will. Mercedes came and asked if she could shut my bedroom door because she had company over. I thanked her for being so thoughtful of me..........she grinned and said, "mom, I don't want that smell coming down the hallway into my bedroom". I laughed for ten minutes over that.
Well, good night everyone, and here's hoping for a better smelling tomorrow.
