since my treatment 6 yrs ago, i've tried red wine twice... most recently on Thanksgiving.

it still burns my tongue and upper throat, even though it was a fairly decent bottle.

over the holidays, i offered my brother-in-law a glass of single malt.. from the last bottle of my collection. it surely wasn't one of my favorites, or it would have been gone too. just for fun, i looked it up on the web... loch dhu... it has a poor rating, yet the price has sky rocketed. i probably bought it for less than $40. i presently sell for almost $400. i should have bought a truck load of it! oh well.

for now, just the smell of a fine glass of wine is sufficient to bring a smile to my face.

I checked with my team on this question as I used to love a cold beer.

They said beer or cider was ok up to my femail 14 unit a week limmit, but only the occasional glass of wine and no spirits at all.
