These lovelies know all about the problems and if they can't figure out a way for you to eat and gain some weight nobody can.
Blessings, Barb

I couldn't eat for a while, and drank Boost and Ensure, even tho I couldn't taste it, actually it tasted like cardboard. I was on morphone and do remember the constipation problems. The oncologist gave me something to relieve it and I cannot remember what it was. Sorry. Know that I am thinking of you and praying for you! Take Care, Carol

I have a liquid called Lactolose from the dr for constipation but it does no better than Milk of Magnesia. I rarely take a pain med as I think most of my pain is really from the constipation and I sure don't want to add to it ! Lia | | |

It cleaned me out. It needs a prescription. Ask dr what you can have.
Take care, Eileen

If you do not, and you are losing weight it is time to talk to your doctors about this. Pain meds cause constipation, and of course your new diet ( or lack of a proper one) is not helping matters. See if you can get some Senekot, and try drinking Ensure with fibre to help the situation.
