Just now got Medicaid, doc called in 5 case prescription of Carnation VHC to CVS pharmacy - Medicaid declined it after they ordered it - said they couldn't do it thru a retail store. Is there some kind of patient advocate, or just a place where you can order & have delivered, that can help people get thru all the red tape....I'm gettin' worn out just trying to get what I need to stay alive.

Also the IV bags. No problem with insurance there, but it's not Medicaid. I think Apria is all over the country. Give them a call if you have one nearby. They should have the right bags for you too. We add a little bit of water to our 2cal formula, which is also thicker and 475 calories. It helps go through the tube better.

Whatever is easier for you, if you want them? | | |
