My mom is three years post tx and has neuropathy in her feet and legs. It wasn't easy finding something that made her more comfortable, but after a quite a bit of trial and error she found some relief with a cocktail of Lamictal, Cymbalta and Lyrica. If you haven't done so already, you may want to take a look at the web site neuropathy.org. I found it helpful and was given some good ideas. I spoke with one person who found relief soaking her feet in a mixture of water, asprin and caspian. It may sound unconventional, but who cares if it works. I hope you're able to find some relief.

Mine, during tx, was profound. I was unable to pick up a coin from a table top, often couldn't hold on to pieces of paper unless I clamped them between my hands, couldn't work a button into a button hole, etc. Injuries to toes went un-noticed until the blood or the bruise was visible. Now, I am able to type and write just fine. My feet are still a bit numb. If you don't have the symptoms now, you are unlikely to develop them later. Be strong, Tom J
SCC BOT, mets to neck, T4. From 3/03: 10wks daily multi-drug chemo, Then daily chemo with twice daily IMRT for 12 weeks - week on, week off. No surgery. New lung primary 12/07. Searching out tx options.
