What treatment are they now going to do this time? Are you having surgery or radiation? Is it possible for them to rmeove the tumor with laser surgery? I had a total laryngectomy and outside of having a hole in my neck and not being able to swim or sing, my quality of life is just fine. So if it comes to that, it is not the 'end of the world'.
Take care, Eileen

I assume you will be getting a TEP. There were able to put mine in at the of the surgery. Sometimes they have to wait to put it in. They were also able to do my surgery without having to take an artery from my arm so healing needed on the arm or leg either. I also had a neck dissection at the same time. I was out of hospital in 5 days with nasal feeding tube which came out about 8 days later. Was then able to talk a little using TEP. Damn thing kept getting clogged and my speech therapist forgot to give me the brush to clear it. If you have any questions, please email me.
Take care, Eileen

Your attitude WILL get you through.
I'm so sorry you have to undergo treatment again. I'm thinking of you and sending positive energy all the way to Middlesborough (where my dad was born).
Love to you from Helen
