Mucositus (Brown Goo) is a real problem, I sometimes have coughing/hacking episodes but it is difficult getting this goo up...Anyone have an Idea when I can look for relief.....

Drink lots of fluid and try some guafienesen (Robitussin or generic). It will thin the stuff out and help you cough it up better. Spit it out at all costs. I had glasses full a day for a couple of months and still had some up to 4-5 months out. I still have some regularly but it is clear. Be careful, the stuff will really burn when you swallow it.
