Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 36 | Hello all. Last weekend I was at an outdoor expo in a small Texas town. The group putting it on had invited me along with my program down. Though it was a trek down there(103 miles one way), I felt I needed to be there. Once there I had 2 men come up to me and say they seen my link on the expo website and decided then and there to quit. And during the day I had 7 more men decide dipping was no longer what they needed to do. I also planted the seed of quitting in the minds of others and gave all the younger ones a good reason to never start.
I am still trying to get my program going. I hope someday to be able to go all over the country and share my story. But I am ALWAYS satisfied when I know I got at least one person to give it up.
Anyhow, many things have kept me from checking in with the forum, but I plan to do better. I wish everyone the best. Take care.

SCC, base of tongue, 2 lymph nodes, stage 3/4. 35 X's IMRT radiation, chemo: Cisplatin x 2, 5FU x2, & Taxol x2. Hooray, after 3 years I'm in still in remission.
