He then referred us to a medical oncologist because of the cyst on the pancreas, Bob's low iron count & a couple other issues.  The medical oncologist referred us to a surgeon in the gastrointerology dept.  Hope this helps!        
Dx June 18, 2004, neck dissection July 1, 35 radiation txs Aug 18-Oct 7.

I was so worried & scared & to keep myself going I either prayed or repeated: "It Ain't Caner Til They Say It's Cancer."  over & over again.
  You can't imagine the surprised reactions from our families when we cheerfully said "Bob doesn't have a recurrence, he just needs another surgery!"  We quickly learned to tone it down!
